Thomas is assigned a bunk bed with Minho. He’s saddened a little because Teresa is off in a different room.
Minho makes a slight conversation with Thomas, asking Thomas what he believed happened to those who chose to stay in the Maze. Thomas assumes Grievers got to them.
Next, Thomas talks telepathically to Teresa. Teresa sends her condolences about Chuck. Thomas begins to speak about the promise that he made to Chuck, but Teresa cuts him short. She says that he has to take advantage of the gift of life that Chuck gave him. Chuck saved him and he has to appreciate what he has now. Thomas and Teresa conclude their conversation wondering about what they once were to each other and wondering what tomorrow will bring.
With something close to a smile on his face, Thomas finally slumbers off to sleep.
