Alby has a ton of questions for Minho about the dead Griever. He wants to know things like how it looked and how it felt. Minho remarks on how Alby just needs to go check it out. They decide to go into the Maze tomorrow to try to haul the dead creature to the Glade.
Before departing, Alby starts accusing Thomas of keeping things from him. All these weird things have been occurring ever since Thomas got there. Thomas is utterly confused about everything.
Later, Thomas needs some alone time. He goes to the area where the Glades meet the forest, the Deadheads, and finds himself a nice tree to rest beneath. He’s barely there when Chuck appears with new news about Ben. Ben is alive and locked up. He’s been set for Banishment later on that evening.
That evening, everybody gathers around the East Doors. Ben is dragged out by some larger kids. Newt brings a pole in soon after. The long pole has a collar attached to it.
