Thomas and Chuck make their way to the Homestead. There, Chuck decides to go around to the outside of the bathroom. He taps on the bathroom window, waiting until somebody responds. Gally, who must have been in the bathroom, eventually responds by opening the window a bit. Chuck, unexpectedly, screams out, scaring Gally. A ruckus in the bathroom suggests that Gally fell to the ground.

Soon, Chuck and Thomas make a quick escape towards the Glade with Gally right behind them. Gally catches up with Thomas. Thomas tells Gally that it wasn’t him who played the bathroom prank. Gally, nonetheless, is incredibly angry. He tells Thomas that he knows it was Chuck. Regardless of who played the trick, Gally warns Thomas that he better make better decisions when it comes to rubbing people the wrong way.

When Gally leaves Chuck emerges from hiding. He apologizes to Thomas and remarks how unlucky that it was the bully, Gally, who was in the bathroom at the time.

Before long, Thomas is trying to slumber off to sleep. He is laying outside, near the Homestead, in a sleeping bag. Depression is sinking in as Thomas realizes he remembers nothing about his past. Soon after, though, an eerie comfortable feeling hits him. He, somehow, knows of his destiny; he knows what he was meant to do. It’s a kooky feeling. He knows he’s meant to be a runner. He even feels as if this is something he’s done before.
