Now that they’re trapped inside the Maze, Minho gives Thomas an earful. He has doomed himself by
entering the structure.

Thomas begins to seek answers to what happened to Alby. Minho suggests that the “dead” Griever
really wasn’t dead. Minho, unfortunately, hasn’t a clue what they’ll be facing next. Nobody has been stuck in the Maze at night and survived. The situation, according to Minho, is hopeless.

Before long, they hear a Griever approaching from a distance. Thomas describes the terrible, robotic sounds it makes as it approaches. Minho suggests that they have to split up and so they do.
