Othello, Iago, and a gentleman enter the scene. Othello hands letters to Iago and he asks him to give them to a pilot of a ship. The letters are to go back home; undoubtedly, they will tell Venice of what happened to the Turkish fleet. Othello instructs Iago to come back to the castle walls to find him. Iago leaves. Othello also leaves to check out the castle walls with the gentleman.
