Antony has gathered with Octavius, and Lepidus. Antony shares a list of names of conspirators who they should kill. Lepidus leaves for an errand and they discuss if they should really use him as a general. Antony states that they should indeed ally up with him. If they are to attain control of Rome, they can use him as a scapegoat one day if anything ever goes bad.
Antony then mentions how Cassius and Brutus are gathering power. They are forming armies. Antony and Octavius agree that they should bring their forces together to counter the forces of Cassius and Brutus.
